Explore the Magic of Shakespeare in a Six-Session Workshop Series
Join us for an immersive, rehearsal-style exploration of one of Shakespeare’s most enduring plays. This six-session workshop begins with an introductory session focused on how we work with Shakespeare’s text — an opportunity to get to know one another, establish a shared approach, and begin engaging with the language in a supportive, practical way.
The five sessions that follow explore selected scenes from each act of the play. Working with scripts in hand and on your feet, participants will investigate character, language, rhythm, and meaning through active exploration rather than performance polish.
Our next play will be Macbeth, one of Shakespeare’s most popular tragedies.
Workshops begin Monday, September 21, 2026, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, and run weekly. Workshops will be held at B Street Collaborative Hub’s Rehearsal Studio, 1100 Bathurst St.
Casting is gender-neutral, giving all participants the opportunity to engage with Shakespeare’s characters and language in fresh and unexpected ways.
