Course Description
Have you ever said to yourself “social media is hard” or “I want to get better at Instagram”? Well… this is the course for you!
Join Award-Winning Content Creator/Social Media Manager & Theatre Artist Will Parry in this four week course breaking down everything you need to know about social media as a theatre artist. You will learn everything from the various social media platforms, content creation/optimization, personal branding, revenue development, mindset, and much more through a variety of lesson plans and homework assignments.
As a theatre artist, a key factor of Will’s success thus far in the industry has come from their social media presence. Although there are many other factors that play into hiring, creating a visible online presence has built Will a wide network of colleagues of various disciplines (i.e. actors, creatives, designers, stage managers, etc.). They’ve also learned how to be more efficient with their social media practices and are eager to share those skills with YOU!
This course is designed for those who are brand new to social media and those who want to sharpen their skills. Every artist can use a little more social media prowess in their toolkit, especially in our current landscape where social media profiles are starting to enter hiring discussions.
