Seeking a non-union Stage Manager for a 60-minute solo comedy production at Video Cabaret’s Dean Taylor Theatre as part of the 2026 Toronto Fringe Festival.
Responsibilities include:
- Attending and programming cues during tech rehearsal
- Calling lighting/sound cues during performances
- Coordinating with venue technician during shows
- Managing pre-show music playback
This is a simple cueing show with basic lighting states. Venue technician will operate the board.
Schedule:
Tech rehearsal:
- June 26, 2026 — 10:00am–1:00pm
Performances:
- June 30 — 4:15pm
- July 2 — 8:00pm
- July 3 — 4:30pm
- July 4 — 12:30pm
- July 7 — 5:45pm
- July 8 — 2:30pm
- July 9 — 12:30pm
- July 11 — 8:00pm
Call time is 30 minutes prior to each performance.
Compensation:
$800 flat fee.
I’m an experienced Fringe artist and performer with multiple festival productions under my belt, including previous critically reviewed work. This is a fun, low-stress comedy project, and I’m looking for someone collaborative, reliable, and easygoing to join the team.
