Please note: this intensive is currently sold out. Actors are encouraged to apply for the waitlist should any additional spots become available.
New York acting teacher Tony Greco will be teaching a two-week Method Acting Intensive at Tarragon Theatre in Toronto from July 13 to 23.
Tony trained directly with Lee Strasberg (the founder of Method acting) and has been teaching Method for over 45 years. His coaching clients include Philip Seymour Hoffman on Capote, The Master, and Boogie Nights; David Harbour on Stranger Things and Black Mass; Forest Whitaker on Lee Daniels’ The Butler; Jesse Plemons on The Power of the Dog; and many others. His students and clients have worked across Academy Award-winning and nominated performances, Golden Globe and Tony-nominated work, as well as major television and international film productions.
The intensive combines Method technique work and scene study, with a focus on relaxation, sense memory, concentration, emotional access, and building a repeatable acting process.
Classes run Monday to Thursday, July 13 to 23. Sessions are offered twice daily:
10 am–1 pm
7 pm–10 pm
Actors in the intensive may attend one or both sessions per day at no extra cost.
Tuition is $600 USD if a waitlist spot becomes available. Payment plans can be arranged.
