Humber College’s post-graduate arts management program has two field placements – 120 hours in the winter, and 300 hours after the end of April 2018.

This year, 42 eager learners are seeking host organizations in all disciplines who have the capacity to offer robust work experiences – and in turn these learners bring skills in HR, revenue development, financial management, planning, and a suite of software applications such as Sumac and Sage 50 (book-keeping).  Over the winter, students are learning marketing, social media, cultural policy and equity and diversity.  Placements may be either paid or voluntary; any compensation that can be offered (transit subsidy, stipend, honorarium upon completion, or salary) increases the pool of learners who can afford to apply for the role offered.  If you think YOU have the capacity to mentor and supervise a new arts management worker seeking to enter the field, please email and we can discuss!  For program details, please see
