A number of graduating students in the Humber Arts Management are looking for exciting, valuable and meaningful summer field placement opportunities!
The phrase ‘unprecedented times’ has been getting a major workout in the past few months, and the postgraduate students of Humber College’s Arts Administration and Cultural Management, are not exempt from the ramifications and consequences of the global pandemic. Humber students must secure summer field placements to learn from industry professionals and renowned arts organizations in order to graduate.
They earnestly want to be included in the vital task of rebuilding, repurposing, and recovery for the arts sector. While some of their field placements are proceeding as planned, many are not. The students are professional, skilled and motivated emerging arts managers with a range of competencies in fundraising and grant-writing, management of human resources, event planning (financial, strategic, special events, career), communications (copywriting, multiplatform, digital, marketing), and program management. There are forty-five skilled graduating students waiting to hear from TAPA members.
