This non-union position creates and performs theatrical programming based on 19th century Canadian history for a wide variety of audiences. Actor Educators research, write, and deliver a range of programs including: first-person monologues, educational workshops, interactive public programs, scenes, and short plays. Through drama, acting, and historical knowledge, they bring 1860s Canada to life and encourage visitors to connect with real people from the past. This position provides excellent customer and client service. Occupational health and safety is a major responsibility of this position. This is a part-time position that includes work on weekends, evenings and holidays.
