Ahoy mates! The Captain’s Calling for crew to sail with A Pirate’s Life a new theatre and cruise production on the Toronto Islands.
The one hour and fifteen minute production is an interactive adventure where families with children aged 3-12 set sail and search for sunken treasure.
The role of ‘Crew’ is to lead the activities, costuming, face painting and creating names for the guests on shore. Aboard the 50 ft vessel crew will lead the adventure through story telling, pirate training and an interactive treasure hunt.
What we’re looking for:
Actors, entertainers, improvists, theatre students, musicians, outgoing individuals who enjoy working outdoors and with children.
Experience in camps, teaching, or working with children an asset!
Theatre and improv experience another asset!
Can you sing/dance/play an instrument and are comfortable in front of an audience of playing a reasonably sized instrument in front of people!

Write us with yer finest letter o’ intent ter join our crew, attach yer credentials (resume) and if ye dare, send in a photo of yer best pirate costume or headshot.
Applications will be accepted through March 15th with initial interviews and auditions before exams in April.
Hours are 20-40 weekly based on productions, May-October
