Shakespeare in Action (SIA) is looking for artists, arts workers and/ or creatives to support the following placements and organizations for their Artists Supporting Community Initiative (ASCI) program, please see below:

Placement: The Community Place Hub
Location: 1765 Weston Rd, York, ON M9N 3P7
Role: Looking for two artists, arts workers and/ or creatives to support meal delivery driving
Please note: You must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
Responsibilities include: Meal pickups Mondays and Wednesdays from Progress Place (576 Church St, Toronto) and meal pickups on Fridays from Kitchen24 (100 Marmora St., North York)
Training: One hour of training will be required with a focus on PPE
Start date and schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting as soon as possible; Tuesdays and Thursdays starting as soon as possible
Training: Support for training to learn the meal delivery route is given by the Community Place Hub staff
Support hours: 11:30 AM to 2 PM on M, W and F for a maximum of 55 hours; 12 PM to 2 PM on T and TH for a maximum of 55 hours
Fee for service: $18/ hour for up to 55 hours, plus a prorated supplemental transportation fee of $5/ hour for up to 55 hours for a maximum total of $275
