Organization Description

Dance Umbrella of Ontario (DUO) is a not-for-profit provider of management services to Ontario’s dance enterprises.

Job Description
Reporting directly to the Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator, the position will:

  • Work closely with the Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator to execute and implement deadline driven social media, digital marketing and communications activities for current and new clients
  • Write online content, including social media, blog and web posts for DUO and on behalf of clients writing in their specific tone of voice.
  • With direction of the Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator coordinating and updating DUO’s and clients websites
  • Implement and optimize digital ads to improve client objectives including; Google Adwords, Facebook and Instagram ads
  • Monitor campaign spending and ensure invoices and billing are tracked
  • Measure and report performance of digital (e.g. Google Analytics) and traditional marketing campaigns
  • Identify trends and insights for client specific events and activities that further project goals and keep up-to-date with latest digital technology developments.
  • Work collaboratively with DUO team and provide assistance when needed, such as during critical or peak workload periods.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  1. Experience working in an Apple environment
  2. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  3. Experience with Google (Mail, Calendar, Analytics, Adwords and Google docs) as well as Adobe Creative Suite
  4. A minimum of two years of social media marketing experience using automated scheduling tools (e.g. Hootsuite), which could be gained through internships or similar employment
  5. Familiarity with executing various conversion tracking configurations and optimizing website user experience (SEO, SEM) is an asset
  6. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  7. Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and oral
  9. Ability to multitask, problem solve and prioritize
