Remuneration: $38,000 – $48,000 per annum. 3 weeks of vacation during the 15-month contract.

Position: Contract position, Full Time (15 month contract with the possibility to extend).

*We recognize that many who work in the arts juggle multiple commitments and may have a desire to work a reduced amount of hours per week. Experience: Minimum 3 years (more is an asset!) working in administration/producing for a cultural organization. Formal Arts Management training is an asset but not a requirement.

Start Date: May 1, 2020 (flexible).

We are looking for a creative and passionate Arts Manager to join our small energetic team. The General Manager will work closely with the Artistic Director, Managing Producer and Associate Artistic Director.

NOTE: The General Manager will collaborate closely with The Managing Producer during the beginning of the contract to execute the responsibilities listed below, and will subsequently take on the majority of those responsibilities during an extended period of temporary leave for the Managing Producer.

The ideal candidate will work well with others while being independent and self-driven. We are looking for someone with a strong working knowledge of and enthusiasm for the non-profit sector and experience managing and leading. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must. As a small but mighty team, every member of our organization has a significant strategic and artistic voice in the direction of the company. We are looking for someone who is eager to be a part of that conversation.
