Civic Theatre Toronto’s Operations department is currently accepting applications for the position of Heavy Duty Cleaner - Show Coverage (Full-time) and the position of Heavy Duty Cleaner (Part-time).

Duties include, but are not limited to, general cleaning and maintenance duties, snow removal, gardening, and set up and dismantling of tables and chairs for special functions.

These are hourly unionized positions working a variable schedule, which includes nights, weekends and holidays as required by the CTT’s performance and events schedule working primarily during performance and event dates/times.

The maintenance staff for the CTT are members of the Service Employees International Union, Local 2 (SEIU – local 2). All maintenance staff report to the Director, Facilities.

Civic Theatres Toronto is one of the city’s largest multi-arts organizations, operating three iconic venues and presenting a full range of performing arts, theatrical and concert events in both downtown and uptown Toronto at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts and the Toronto Centre for the Arts.
