Industry Listing, Job Posting.

Deadline: Monday January 25, 2021

Start Date: February 2021
Contract Length: Part-time for one year, with possibility of extension

TDT is seeking an effective communicator to join the team as Manager, Corporate and Foundations. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for research, writing and stewardship of TDT’s current and prospective corporations and foundations base. You are a compelling writer who will contribute to building and stewarding relationships in the dance and philanthropic communities.

This is an exciting time to join the company as TDT embarks on a new artistic chapter with the start of Andrew Tay’s tenure as Artistic Director in 2020. The Manager will have the opportunity to engage in the strategic direction of the company from the ground up and directly contribute to the evolution of the company over the following year.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Research and identify funding opportunities from foundations and corporations that align with TDT’s mission and activities
  • Write proposals and solicit funds from foundations and businesses, focusing on growth of the current portfolio
  • Cultivate and steward new and existing relationships
  • Create and manage a calendar of foundation and corporate asks and deadlines
  • Support the Managing Director and Artistic Director as needed with public sector funding proposals
  • Other duties as assigned

Given the current health guidelines, this will be a work-from-home position until further notice. The role is part-time, with the potential to grow in scope during TDT’s next season for the right candidate.
