Ontario Presents is seeking a full-time Membership Services & Communications Coordinator.

ONTARIO PRESENTS is member-based network of performing arts venue managers, presenters, artists and artist managements who work collaboratively to advance artistic-focused, performing arts presentation practices in the Province of Ontario. The organization is governed by a board of directors and managed by a small field team headed by an Executive Director.

Member, Field and Event Services – 50%
The Membership Services & Communications Coordinator is responsible for supporting various aspects of Ontario Presents’ membership and field programs. Scope of responsibilities include: processing membership applications/renewals; updating the Wild Apricot membership database; build and track event and online course registrations using online event / course management tools for events such as Ontario Contact, Annual Members’ Retreat, Blue Sky Day, and the Presenter Webinar Series.

Special Project and Administrative Support – 30%
Provide logistical support to Special Projects such as the Municipal Performing Arts Centre Policy Framework, Ontario Contact, and the ArtsEngageCanada.Ca initiatives. Support includes organizing meetings and workshops, conducting surveys, and liaising with sponsors. Other duties include preparing daily bank deposits.

Communications, Information Gathering & Reporting – 20%
Facilitate communications and learning among the members employing the latest in web-based technologies including: updating the OP member website; stewarding member forums; rapid follow-up to member enquiries; periodic member surveys.

Skills and Attributes Required
• Proficiency with web-based communication tools including web site forums, blogs, and social media.
• Strong research, critical thinking and communication skills:
• Strong report writing skills
• Able to juggle multiple priorities
• Proficiency with office productivity software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

This position will be remunerated at $41,500/yr based on a 37.5 work week. ONTARIO PRESENTS offers an extended health benefits plan through the CSI Wellness Program.
