Fall for Dance North (FFDN) is Toronto’s premier international dance festival and an Ontario non-profit registered charity. FFDN’s fifth anniversary festival will run from October 2-6, 2019. As part of the Festival's 5th anniversary, Fall for Dance North is excited to present a program celebrating a diverse, international and contemporary collection of Indigenous dance works at Ryerson Theatre from October 4-6, 2019. The Ryerson program features 4 works in a Fall for Dance North-signature mixed evening.Details found on the FFDN website.

​The Program Manager will lead the artistic planning of the Indigenous-focused program at Ryerson Theatre, and design specific ancillary activities through an ongoing planning process overseen by and in collaboration with the Executive Producer. The Program Manager will be expected to support the festival’s network of contacts within the Indigenous arts community, and draw on their own to attract a roster of world-class creative faculty.

-Act as the main liaison between the FFDN team and the 4 Ryerson Theatre festival artists
-Coordinate artist travel and accommodation
-Work with the FFDN 2019 artistic team to design and implement tailored ancillary Ryerson program outreach activities
-Support FFDN’s Marketing Manager with promoting the program to the public
-Work closely with each artist/company to ensure that specific needs and requirements are met (as best as possible) throughout their festival experience
-Effectively execute and evaluate program objectives, including strategies to meet attendance and revenue targets
-Other company management tasks

-Min. 2-3 years experience working in a production and/or administration related position in the arts
-Familiarity with a network of Indigenous performing arts practitioners, and the dance community of Toronto is an asset
-Well-organized and detail-oriented
-Clear communication and strong writing skills
