Deadline: July 15, 2019
Cohort is an open-source code framework that enables live performance makers to use mobile devices in their work: to cue audio, video and augmented reality content; to send push notifications; to offer closed captions; to control the devices’ flashlights; etc. adelheid has received funding from the Canada Council’s Digital Strategy Fund to support Cohort to further develop the framework using a ‘sponsored open-source’ model. This will involve a small development team working with a group of partner companies who will use the framework and related tools in their creative projects. Partner companies include: adelheid, bluemouth inc, It’s Not a Box Theatre, Outside the March, Ivanochko et cie, the Cellar Door Project, Live Action Theatre, and collectif BUS 1.2.3.
Cohort is administered by adelheid. The project’s technical lead is Jacob Niedzwiecki. We are looking for a project manager/producer.
