We are currently hiring for the position of:

RISING STARS ASSISTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Coordinator, Rising Stars, the Rising Stars Assistant will provide support for lead up and the on-site execution of TIFF Rising Stars, a three day intensive programme for emerging Canadian and International actors, taking place at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for cinema and actors
• Post-secondary degree in cinema or media preferred
• Administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize
• Experience in Casting an asset
• Experience in live event production
• Quick thinker, good judgment and excellent multi-tasker
• Knowledge of other languages (especially French) a definite asset
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
