The St. Lawrence Parks Commission’s Fort Fright is in its eighth season at Fort Henry and this year we’re recruiting those who love to play the “undead” to terrify, petrify, horrify, and generally scare our beloved guests. If you are a creative individual with experience in theatre or interpretation and have an interest in acting within the horror event market, this job is for you!
Please indicate your interest in this one-of-a-kind job experience on your resume by quoting “Fort Fright Scare Actor”, and indicate specifically your experience with the following: acting; special event planning and/or execution including the physical ability to assist with set-up, maintenance and tear down of an event; providing excellent hospitality and customer service; following detailed daily instructions and rescheduling planned activities to accommodate changing priorities; working in a team environment; as well as any applicable unique
skills and/or talents such as illusions, magic, make-up artistry, etc.
Fort Fright Scare Actor
HOURS OF WORK:
Variable to 36.25 hours per week
(weekends, evenings and holidays as required)
SALARY: $11.00 per hour
PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT:
September 14 to November 13, 2015
All event setup, maintenance, tear down, and scare acting will take place
at Fort Henry National Historic Site, Kingston, Ontario.
