FILAMENT INCUBATOR is in need of a SET/COSTUME DESIGNER interested in joining a project mid-process.
Our original set/costume designer for "Paradise Comics" by Caitie Graham has unfortunately left the project, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable working within the framework that has already been established! While contributing creatively to the look of the show, of course.
Some sourcing and drafting work has already been done; we are happy to forward this information to any interested applicant. We are also hiring a Design Assistant to help manage the workload. In terms of compensation, you will be paid a $100.00 artists’ fee, in addition to an equal share of the show’s profit.
"Paradise Comics" by Caitie Graham is the last of 8 plays in Filament Incubator's inaugural season. Developed with the dramaturgical support of Tarragon Theatre's Young Playwright's Unit, and Pat the Dog Creation, this bold new play contemplates the trials of adolescence, parenting, and how families grieve.
The show runs between November 23rd, and December 3rd of 2016, at a brand new theatre space called Kensington Hall (56K Kensington Ave). We load in and run tech on November 21st and 22nd; applicants must be available for these dates.
To apply, or for more information, please contact Caitie at firstname.lastname@example.org
This production is Canadian Actors’ Equity Association production under the Artists’ Collective Policy.
