Resilience Theatre is seeking a Non-Union Stage Manager for Traffic Jams, a new one-woman show playing in the Toronto Fringe Festival this July.
This new company is focused on supporting up-and-coming artists and putting the spotlight on the underrepresented and their experiences. Emerging Stage Managers are strongly encouraged to apply including students in post-secondary theatre production programs. Prior Fringe/festival experience is an asset, but not a requirement. This is a paid contract position with compensation of $500. This solo piece is 60 minutes long and will involve live music.
-Attending final rehearsals at the end of June/early July (Some flexibility as the Stage Manager is not required for the entire rehearsal process)
-Attending the technical rehearsal (Date to be determined by Toronto Fringe)
-Calling lighting cues and running sound via Qlab for all 7 performances
-Helping with set-up and strike for each performance (Within 15 minutes, pre and post show)
-Compiling the prompt book
