Red Drapes Production is seeking a Non-Union Stage Manager for its North American debut of TWO OF US at this year’s Toronto Fringe Festival.
This company is focused on supporting up-and-coming artists, in particular immigrant women telling their stories to a diverse audience. TWO OF US is a collaboration between award-winning Croatian contemporary playwright, Tena Stivicic and Croatian Canadian director Svjetlana Jaklenec. The production boasts a talented and supportive all female team.
Challenging traditional ideas about a woman's role in society, an unorthodox triangle - a daughter, a wife and a mistress - draws us into a web of lies and split loyalties, testing our preconceptions about family, love, fidelity and masculinity.
Emerging Stage Managers are strongly encouraged to apply including students in post-secondary theatre production programs. Prior Fringe/festival experience is an asset, but not a requirement. This is a contract position with compensation of $400 honourarium. This piece is 90 minute Comedy/Drama and will involve mixed media. Director: Svjetlana Jaklenec / Cast: Beatriz Yuste, Daniela Saioni, Brock Simpson / Composer: Brock Simpson / Producer: Kulbinder Saran Caldwell

-Plus other duties as assigned
