Intersection Theatre is looking for a Stage Manager/Assistant Director for their upcoming production "Pearls & Poison."
This is an original work, with the chance to provide creative input towards the tech and to be an additional outside eye for the tech and dress rehearsals. The show is light on tech, it's a perfect gig for an organized theatre-maker interested in working collaboratively. Rehearsals are PT beginning Sept 5, we are flexible, but the SM/Assistant must be available at minimum Sept 10, 11, 15-18. Voluntary position, though a small honorarium guaranteed.
Pearls & Poison, or The Appropriate Amount of Rouge conceived and directed by Yolanda Ferrato,
Featuring Karyn Guenther, Keshia Palm and Yolanda Ferrato
Inspired by the violence of children's rhymes and the macabre works of artists such as Edward Gorey and Hillaire Belloc, "Pearls & Poison, or The Approriate Amount of Rouge" weaves three haunting cautionary tales about otherwise ordinary women who find extreme solutions for problems thousands of others cope with in more peaceful ways.
Performances Sept 16-18 at Hub 14 ( 14 Markham St, near Queen & Bathurst)
If interested please email a brief paragraph explaining interest in the project and your artistic cv to Yolanda Ferrato at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday Sept 2. Early applications encouraged.
