Shakespeare in the Ruff is looking for an artist educator to join the company and helm our Youth Development and Outreach work with a focus on our Young Ruffian Apprenticeship Program (YRAP). We are looking for someone with passion, dedication, and a desire to create meaningful programming for youth. Now entering our eighth season, we are a company dedicated to creating exciting, accessible adaptations of Shakespeare’s works that speak to our world today. The YRAP is a vital part of our work. Free of charge, it provides high school students with integrated one-on-one mentorship, hands-on skill building, and the opportunity to perform.
The contract goes from January to October, with an increase in activity in March/April and July/August. It requires self-motivation and the ability to work independently. Full job description and qualifications found here.
