
Gregory is a multi-award-winning actor, director, and theatre creator. Acting credits include: Humour Me (Here for Now), Casey and Diana (Theatre Aquarius/MTC), The Bidding War (Crow’s Theatre), The Inheritance (Canadian Stage), Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Mirvish); 40 shows over 12 seasons with Soulpepper including A Streetcar Named Desire, August: Osage County, Bed & Breakfast, La Bête, Of Human Bondage, Spoon River, Father Comes Home from the Wars, Angels in America; shows with Company Theatre, Tarragon, YPT, Centaur, and the Canadian Opera Company. Writing/Directing credits include: Bremen Town (Next Stage); De Profundis: Oscar Wilde in Jail (Soulpepper – Dora Award, Toronto Theatre Critic’s Award); also co-creating Alligator Pie (Dora Award) and re(birth): ee cummings in song (Soulpepper). Directing credits include: Rose: A New Musical (Dora Award), Hosanna, The Heidi Chronicles
(Soulpepper); Punk Rock (Howland Company), Fish Eyes (TPM, Canadian Tour, The Other Festival – Chennai, India). He has taught at Toronto Metropolitan University, University of Toronto, the Soulpepper Academy, The National Theatre School, and in elementary, junior, and high schools across Toronto. He has twice been listed in the Top Ten Theatre Artists of the Year by Now Magazine, nominated for eighteen Dora Mavor Moore Awards (winning four), and
shortlisted for the Pauline McGibbon Award for Emerging Director. Gregory can be seen on Crave’s Pillow Talk (2 Canadian Screen Award nominations). He is a graduate of Acadia University, the National Theatre School, and the Soulpepper Academy. Upcoming: directing his play Bremen Town at Tarragon, directing Kevin Wong and Nick Green’s In Real Life at Theatre Sheridan, and developing his multidisciplinary piece Quorum as part of his Theatre Centre Residency.
