Jenny Ginder is the Principal of Ginder Consulting, a firm dedicated to developing and implementing capacity building strategies for the cultural sector. Building on a career in the public and private sectors, government and politics, Jenny’s consulting has focussed on strategic planning, business planning, facility development, government relations, and community engagement with a broad range of clients including professional cultural organizations, arts service organizations, government departments and agencies.
Before turning to consulting in 2000, Jenny spent 19 years working in government and the cultural sector. During this time she served as Director of Government Relations for the Canadian Opera Company, with senior management responsibility for the strategic positioning of the company with public sector decision-makers.
On the volunteer front, Jenny serves on the Board of Directors of The Theatre Centre, is the Past President of Arts Consultants Canada/Consultants canadiens en arts, and sits on both the Advocacy Committee for the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts and ArtsVote.
