Jeremy Hutton is a Toronto-based director, actor, composer, lyricist, sound designer, fight director, and production manager. He was the founding artistic director of the Toronto Youth Theatre (TYT), and is the former artistic director of Hart House Theatre (HHT). Currently Jeremy is the production manager at Crow’s Theatre. He has a degree in classical music from the University of Toronto, and he has won several awards for his musical contributions across the years. Favourite credits include: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Macbeth, King Lear, The Night of the Iguana, and Into the Woods (HHT); Lucky Stiff, City of Angels, Urinetown, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (TYT); Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Twelfth Night (CTP); and Othello, Julius Caesar, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Pan (SBTS Halifax). Jeremy has also written several musicals including the Kids FringeTO hit FairyTale Ending, the Merritt Award-winning Snow White, and the ever popular Robin Hood – The Legendary Musical Comedy.
