Kevin Matthew Wong (he/him) is a performance creator and producer. Kevin is the Managing Producer of the MAKE Stream at Why Not Theatre, leading collaborations with performing arts institutions in Canada and beyond, and he is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Broadleaf Theatre, which merges environmentalism and live performance. His ongoing performance work The Chemical Valley Project is a multimedia solo-performance about environmentalism and reconciliation, created in collaboration with Aamjiwnaang First Nation Water Protectors Vanessa Gray and Beze Gray, and co-creator Julia Howman. As an artist, Kevin’s work has toured nationally and internationally, and he has collaborated with artists and organizations across Canada, Germany, the US, UK, Korea and China. Kevin has presented and curated live performance and new works through Broadleaf Theatre, the Progress Festival, and rePLAY: Rapid Reponse Art.
