Michelle (she/her) is a producer and arts leader with diverse experience working for dozens of theatres, festivals, dance companies and entertainment agencies across Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. She has held a variety of different roles in development, marketing and project management, and has worked with companies such as Shakespeare’s Globe, Soulpepper, Steppenwolf, Luminato, Canada’s Ballet Jörgen, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Jacobs School of Music, Yale Repertory Theatre, Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, American Repertory Theatre, MCC Theatre, Folger Shakespeare Library and the Bloomington Arts and Entertainment District.
Previous executive leadership roles include tenures as Managing Producer of Peut-Être Theatre (UK), Interim Managing Producer of Outside the March, and General Manager of the Paprika Festival. As a frequent theatre and dance producer, she has managed tours in the U.A.E., China, the United States, and the United Kingdom, with venues ranging from abandoned funeral homes to the Lincoln Centre for the Performing Arts. She holds a Masters in Arts Administration from Indiana University, a postgrad in digital marketing from University of the Arts London, a B.A. in theatre from Queen’s University, and is a member of the CIFAS International Producers’ Academy.
She is currently a Managing Producer at Why Not Theatre, and a proud Board Member of the Paprika Festival.
