Nick Green is a Dora Mavor Moore, Elizabeth Sterling Haynes, and Tom Hendry Award winning playwright in Toronto. Featured writing credits include Dr. Silver; A Celebration of Life (book; South Coast Repertory Theatre, PPF); Every Day She Rose (co-written with Andrea Scott, Nightwood Theatre); Happy Birthday Baby J (Shadow Theatre); Living the Dream (book; Canadian Music Theatre Projects); In Real Life (book and co-lyrics; Canadian Music Theatre Projects, recipient of the Tom Hendry Award); Body Politic (lemonTree Creations/Buddies in Bad Times, Dora Mavor Moore Award); Fangirl (book; Musical Stage Company); Poof! The Musical (book and lyrics; Capitol Theatre); and Coffee Dad, Chicken Mom, and the Fabulous Buddha Boi (Guys in Disguise, Sterling Award). Nick has been a part of the Stratford Festival’s Foerster Bernstein New Play Development Program; Factory Theatre’s Natural Resources unit; Nightwood Theatre’s Write from the Hip; and Sheridan College’s Canadian Music Theatre Project.
