What creative projects will you be able to come up with if we extended our deadline? Well, you're in luck! The submission deadline has been pushed back so you can polish your applications to make sure the performance you present on stage is the BEST one yet at dance: made in canada/fait au canada (d:mic/fac) Festival from August 11 to 15, 2021 in Toronto.
We are now accepting applications for our biennial contemporary dance repertory festival, presenting both new and existing works by established, mid-career and emerging choreographers working in Canada. Submit your proposals for these two platforms:
- Mainstage, curated by three artists from Canada’s dance community, including Artistic Director Yvonne Ng, and
- What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) a lottery-based platform of short works.
Choreographers may apply for either a Mainstage presentation, a WYSIWYG presentation, or both.
Applications must be received by 11:59 P.M., Thursday, February 27th, 2020, Pacific Time to be considered for the August 2021 festival.
