The competition offers an opportunity for innovative and creative thinkers across Ontario to present their solutions to the great challenges that Ontarians and Canadians will face over the next 50 years—everything from evolving environmental pressures to electoral reform.

Submissions close March 6, 2017. Thirty-six finalists will present essays in front of a live audience in one of six Ontario locations in 2017 (travel and accommodation provided). Six prizes will be awarded—one winner will be announced at the end of each event. The events will be free and open to the public, and the Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell will be in attendance.
