LMDA Canada will host the annual Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas Conference in Toronto from June 21-23, 2018.
This conference is the major annual activity of this over 400-member organization which includes not only literary managers and institutional and freelance dramaturgs but creative producers, literary agents, directors, development executives, educators, students, and other artists and administrators in theatre and the performing arts from across North America. Conference attendees will immerse themselves in conversations, case studies, discussion panels, and hand-on workshops bringing together national and international artists to create exchanges both theoretical and practical.
LMDA is putting out a Call for Proposals for its 2018 Conference on the theme of "Crossing Borders". We seek diverse voices at the conference and invite LMDA members to propose contributions related to the conference theme. Contributions can take the form of panels, individual papers, praxis sessions, roundtables, workshops, performances, installations. Please submit your proposal of no more than 200 words using our online submission form which you can find here The deadline to apply is Monday February 5.
