The Province and City of Toronto have retained SN Management as an independent facilitator to support community groups who wish to participate in a visioning process for a community hub at the Bloor-Dufferin Redevelopment site in Toronto.
As the next step in this work, the Province and the City of Toronto are inviting Expressions of Interest from not-for-profit or registered charitable community organizations to form an independent, voluntary and time limited task group called the "Community Hub Visioning Group for Bloor-Dufferin".
It is anticipated that the Visioning Group will meet approximately 6 times for 2–3 hour working sessions from February to April 2017, with the first meeting proposed for Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
With the help of the facilitator, the Visioning Group will discuss key components of the potential hub including service options, community needs and opportunities, and leadership and governance options. There is no funding/compensation for organizations or individuals participating in this group.
Interested organizations will have the opportunity to ask questions about the REOI process at the pre-submission information sessions on the following dates and times:
Expressions of Interest are due to SN Management via email at firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday January 16, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. There will be no exceptions to this deadline.
Additional information about eligibility, the submission process and background on the site are included in the attached REOI.
If you have any questions/comments about the REOI process, please contact SN Management at email@example.com.
