- 3rd Round: Applications opens June 26, 2017 and closes July 28, 2017
RBC Arts Access Fund is just one component of The RBC Newcomer Artist Spotlight program. The additional components are:
- The RBC Mentorship Award Program | Launches in 2017!
A new component this year, the Mentorship Program addresses business and sustainability challenges that are faced by working artists, while fostering the relationship between the business and arts community. Six mentorship awards will be open to past RBC Arts Access Fund recipients focused on developing their entrepreneurial skills. Applications will be adjudicated by a jury of professional Toronto artists, supported by Neighbourhood Arts Network. WorkInCulture will match mentees to mentors in the business sector.
- RBC Let’s Talk Art Workshop Series | Launches February 2017!
The RBC Let’s Talk Art workshop series will bring together acclaimed professional artists, arts leaders, funders and creative business experts to help lead a range of professional development workshops for newcomer artists. Facilitated by the Neighbourhood Arts Network, each round table workshop session will give newcomer artists access to the gatekeepers of the Toronto arts sector, an opportunity to increase their capacity and understand how to navigate the arts in Toronto.
