SUMMER OF SOUND
Summer of Sound is a five-day audio-recording studio summer camp for ages 16 – 18 where participants will learn the basics of audio recording through a collaborative project that tells the story of their summer. Through working together, campers will be encouraged to develop a creative process while working towards the creation of a finished piece.
With the guidance of the B Street Sound Engineers, Summer of Sound will:
- Teach how to use an up-to-date digital audio workstation to record and mix
- Guide the cultivation of inspiration
- Explore the creative process of developing, writing, and editing
- Support creativity

Yes, the space is accessible! Located at 1100 Bathurst Street, B Street is fully accessible with an accessible entrance, a lift, and accessible washroom.
Limited parking is available at the west side of the building on Patrick McGregor Lane.
Personal laptops are not required to attend the camp, however if you prefer to bring your own Macbook with Logic Pro, you are welcome to. Training laptops are available during the duration of the camp for shared camper use.
Summer of Sound is about exploration of sound and moving away from the traditional expectation of music and song formats, and instead, towards using sound in all its formats as a means of expression.
Lunches will not be provided, although fresh fruit will be available.
The Intensive has an introductory rate of $500 + HST/week
