Fall for Dance North (FFDN) is Toronto’s premier international dance festival and an Ontario not-for-profit organization and registered charity.
Founded in response to the crucial need to fortify the dance audience of the future, FFDN attracts new audiences to experience a diversity of the best established and emerging dance happening in Toronto, across Canada and around the world. Our mandate is to reflect Toronto’s multiculturalism, create an atmosphere of shared discovery, and entice people to attend live dance performance throughout the year.
FFDN staffs a lean, mean, multi-tasking team year-round, but come festival time, we depend on the enthusiastic support of volunteers to help make this festival happen! We value diversity and welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, with all levels of experience.
We are in search of Volunteers (ages 19+) to fill many exciting positions before and during the festival, running Oct. 2-6, 2018. We will need volunteers leading up to and during the festival, assisting in many areas; from greeting festival guests, scanning tickets and ushering patrons inside the theaters to assisting our company management by welcoming international artists to Toronto and helping with our many dance events around the city (including programming at Union Station)!
In return you are offered a free ticket to one of our programs, access to networking opportunities, the chance to build new skills, meet cool new people and support the arts in Toronto!
