Arts HR expert Jeanne LeSage will take you through the steps and processes to ensure your organization has the policies, procedures and processes to create and foster both a safe and respectful workplace free of harassment, and due diligence in terms of organizational compliance.  Attendees will learn the areas of compliance and legal jurisdiction, review a sample Workplace Harassment Policy as provided by TAPA, understand the roles and responsibilities of boards and senior management, and discuss tangible ways to make your policies ‘living’ documents through sound procedures, policies and tools.

RATE $50+HST per person or 2 for $80+HST (from the same organization)

About Jeanne LeSage

Jeanne’s 25+ year career includes executive positions at the Toronto International Film Festival - starting TIFF’s first Human Resources department; the Arts Management Fellowship at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Abu Dhabi Film Festival, the Royal Opera House Muscat (Oman); and Executive Director of the Kay Meek Centre for Performing Arts in West Vancouver.  Jeanne is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), holds an MBA in Management Consulting, and has launched LeSage Arts Management with a focus on Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness, Strategy, and Facilitation.
