Building the basic tools for creating, developing and putting together a solid creative business idea.
CreativeBoost: Countdown to Business is a free online workshop that is broken up into 2 hour sessions for three consecutive Saturdays. It is geared towards artists, creatives, and cultural workers who are thinking about starting a creative business during or post the COVID-19 pandemic.
These online workshops are designed to help emerging entrepreneurs and or freelancers plan for success - by understanding the strengths of their business, defining their target market and begin building a brand so that they can start or grow their business.
Experienced creative entrepreneurs will be invited as panelists at the end of the program to answer any questions and share their personal stories on business planning, managing challenges like the COVID-19 crisis, and tips to prepare a business for the future.
It is recommended that you attend each day of the program in order to get the full benefit. Capacity is limited to 15 registrants. Please be considerate and register if you are fully committed.
These online workshops involve interactive, reflective, and writing activities that correlate with a workbook, participants get to step into the business mind frame and leave with the key components of their business more clearly defined. So please be ready to participate and meet like-minded creatives!
WorkInCulture CreativeBoost Certificates will be awarded to those who complete all seven hours.
