Actor/Designated Linklater Voice Teacher Sarah Weatherwax offers a monthly Drop In Voice Class for Actors & Singers.

** 2nd TUESDAY evening of each month Sept., 2016 to June, 2017.**

Next Class: Tuesday, May 9, 2017, 6:30PM – 8:30PM.

A unique environment, this class is both relaxed and professional in its approach to voice for the actor. New performers can develop their skills and experienced performers can re-tune their instruments. Each month offers a complete voice & body warm-up with a slightly different focus. Gently address habitual physical tension and communication habits to free your voice and your acting. Receive specific, individualized guidance.

Focus this month: Breathing Power & Resonators Part II

This class will offer a very complete warm-up, with a lot of breath work, to prepare us for the relaxation, openness and high energy needed for clear, strong, expressive upper resonators: sinus, nasal, (range) and skull.

Although most people utilize perhaps 5 or 6 notes of their mid-range while talking, a free speaking voice can access 3 to 4 octaves. By isolating and warming up specific resonators, your voice will be freer to go where it needs to go - to express what you need to express - in response to the text and your actor instincts.
