Next Class: Tues., May 14, 2019, 6:30PM – 8:30PM

Actor/Designated Linklater Voice Teacher Sarah Weatherwax offers a Monthly Drop In Voice Class for Actors & Singers.

Develop your talent.
2nd Tuesday evening of each month until June, 2019.
Next Class: Tues., May 14, 2019, 6:30PM – 8:30PM.

Gently release habitual tension to free your voice and your acting. Receive specific, individualized guidance. Both new and experienced performers are welcome in this relaxed, professional environment.

The focus for Tuesday's class will be, in part, determined by you. As you make your way there, allow yourself to become aware of the state of your body and voice. Ask yourself a few questions: What parts of your body feel tight or tired? Have you been suffering from seasonal allergies today? Are you feeling 'pressed' down by stress? Has your voice been raspy lately? Does your jaw feel tight?

At the beginning of class, there will be time to share your thoughts about your voice & body, if you like. You may also request a certain focus for part of the warm-up (jaw tension, breath capacity, range, etc...) or your favourite voice/body exercise.

We will create a relaxing, healing, rejuvenating warm-up together.
