For the fifth consecutive year, Actor/Designated Linklater Voice Teacher Sarah Weatherwax offers a Monthly Drop In Voice Class for Actors & Singers.
Develop your talent.
2nd Tuesday evening of each month until June, 2019.
Next Class: Tues., Jan. 8, 2019, 6:30PM – 8:30PM.
Gently release habitual tension to free your voice and your acting. Receive specific, individualized guidance. New performers can develop their skills and experienced performers can re-tune their instruments in this relaxed, professional environment.
The next class in the 2018/19 series will focus on space for breath in the hips, ribs and shoulders. (This is a continuation of the class focus in Dec., 2018...) By relaxing, stretching and strengthening the inner layers of muscle, the body can easily increase its capacity for breath, resulting in an easier time with the full, rich, long phrases called for in the most heightened moments of singing and emotionally-charged, on-stage acting. Breath dropping in deeply, freely and quickly allows the voice to more honestly and instinctively reveal subtle, quick or complex shifts in thought and feeling too, for better on-camera acting.
