Jake Gyllenhaal: His Nightcrawler character inspired by hungry coyotes

An actor’s vision is lived emotionally and physically.

That kind of performance requires more than instinct – it needs interpretative intelligence and a mastery of physical, psychological, and emotional craft into performance.

Internationally acclaimed teachers Jean-Louis Rodrigue and Kristof Konrad team up to present a 3-DAY INTENSIVE WORKSHOP on JULY 22, 23 and 24th, 2016, to explore the skills and tools that are required for the extraordinary creation of characters and performances.

The course will focus on: connecting to the body through awareness with the Alexander Technique (getting out of your head); freeing impulse and response patterns by exploring ANIMAL BEHAVIOR; recognizing the force of habit; improving breath coordination and vocal quality; improving our movement by learning to organize body relationships; understanding Means and Ends; making clear choices of intention; infusing direction in our thinking and movement; applying the Alexander Technique to monologues, sonnets, songs, and scenes; and learning to develop characters physically ( if I believe your body, I’ll believe your character).

Just 3 weeks left until this extraordinary workshop kicks off! Note that WE WILL BE CLOSING REGISTRATION FOR THIS WORKSHOP ON FRIDAY, JULY 8th; so if you are interested, register now with Kim Nelson :!
