Deadline: Wednesday, January 27, 2021, 12 pm
The Emerging Artist Roundtable is a forum for emerging artists and final year university/college students from all aspects of theatre to engage with members of the professional community and other emerging artists. The virtual sessions will provide the participants an opportunity to gain insights and develop relationships that will help bridge formal training with entering the profession. A group of 10 -12 emerging artists will get the opportunity to participate in a series of four 90 minute sessions that focus on learning how to carve a place for yourself and your own work in the Canadian Theatre landscape. This roundtable is an opportunity for a group of diverse artists to connect with other artists from multiple disciplines. Moderated and lead by Theatre Gargantua’s Artistic Director Jacquie Thomas, with featured speakers.
Due to the current health pandemic, all sessions will be held via ZOOM.
We encourage people of all class, language, race and ability to apply.
