In this memoir-focused workshop, Sara Porter leads participants through a lively series of movement improvisations, writing prompts and vocal explorations to generate different kinds of memoir material geared toward performance. Questions surrounding memory, identity, storytelling, performance and craft are explored through creative work and conversation. A thoughtful and fun approach to memoir. Artistic experience - in any discipline - is helpful but not required.
