Award-winning artist and poet Timaj Garad will lead a 5-week series of writing workshops at the Aga Khan Museum Saturdays from March 9-April 6, 2019, 2-4 pm.
The Poetic Heartwork series cultivates wellbeing by deepening creative writing and wellness practices anchored in self love; including body, mind, emotional, and spiritual domains, and strengthening our capacity towards radical self and community care. Participants in this program are invited to a deeper exploration of how poetry can inform and enhance their own wellbeing. The final session will engage participants in a collaborative process of extending self love to create thriving, resilient communities.
Open to 15 artists of all disciplines.
