Come explore the Bard with your own voice with International Fellow of Shakespeare’s Globe under Mark Rylance, Catherine McNally as she uses original practices to unearth the text and bring the actor's true voice to the work.

Catherine is an award- winning Toronto actor, director, producer/educator and international fellow of Shakespeare's Globe. Recent work: Boston Marriage (Headstrong Collective), Contractions (Storefront Theatre), Chasing Margaret Flatwood (best performance TO Fringe), Citadel Theatre (The Penelopiad), Can Stage (A Winters’s Tale), Shakespeare in Action (Romeo and Juliet, The Diary of Anne Frank). Other selected theatre: Tarragon (The Orphan Muses, Dora Nomination), Factory Theatre, Theatre Passe Muraille (Hunger Striking), Buddies, Shakespeare-in-the-Rough, Theatre Aquarius, Native Earth , Shakespeare-in-the-City (The Merry Wives of Windsor), Jewel (national tour), Geva Theatre, and Shakespeare's Globe Master at Play. Catherine has directed for Theatre Erindale, assistant directed at CanStage, Stratford Festival (Tyrone Guthrie Award), and YPT. She has received the prestigious Christopher Plummer Award, named in NOW‘s top ten best performances of the Fringe '07 (Mrs. Warren's Profession), best ensemble (In Darfur) Fringe '08. Selected film/T.V : Recurring/starring roles Reign, Saving Hope, Degrassi, Murdoch Mysteries, Satisfaction, Flashpoint, The Whistleblower, Love, Sex, and Eating the Bones (TIFF), Webdultery, Best Laid Plans, Where’s Mr. Know it All, Doc, Odyssey 5, Soul Food, Killing Me Softly, Kojak, Roxana, Get a Clue. Catherine is an acting teacher at U of T, and at The Armstrong Acting Studios (also a resident coach). Upcoming: recurring and co-starring roles in A Charming Christmas with Julie Benz and Rogue opposite Richard Schiff.
