April 10th at 6:30PM
IPAA is very excited to announce our next workshop:
April 10th at 6:30PM at Ontario Presents - 192 Spadina Ave, Toronto, ON
This FREE workshop is for Indigenous performing artists and performing arts organizations. Please attend and learn how to develop a new level of comfort with the contracting process.
Contract negotiations come with certain expectations for both the artist and presenter. Workshop facilitators; Denise Bolduc and Cynthia Lickers-Sage have a wide range of experience and will focus on explaining a radius clause, copyright issues and affects, ensuing what you want in contracts, show budgets, riders, and more. By the end of this session you will have a whole new level of comfort dealing with agents, and managements and about creating a Win, Win, situation as an artist.
Registration on Eventbrite is required. Limited tickets available so grab yours today. This event is co-presented with the Indigenous Performing Arts Alliance and Ontario Presents and is part of IPAA's 2019 March to June Workshop Series. IPPA greatly appreciates the financial support for the 2019 Workshop Series from the Toronto Arts Council.
