Hosted and in dialogue with associate curator Cole Alvis Gerry will research with you a new physical/vocal progression based in his personal practice – a variable template and open choreography that invites presence, health and imagination. The sequence of action/ being/ questioning encourages you to research your own creative solo practice and artistry in light of the connection to your community. The practice is a sequence of notice-ings, that may help you brave the change that is happening within and around you.

Post practice you will have a chance to join break out rooms with the Pounds team, MVI Alumni, and guests to discuss your building solo practice and offer questions for the next session. We will also introduce you to the many artists who will be presenting and/or performing this fall on the PoundsArt Channel.
