REGISTRATION AND MORE INFORMATION
This work helps us get unstuck. It teaches us to listen, to re-discover play, not to push too much or shy away but to let go and be attuned to the moment - to find our open, sensitive, vulnerable, human and ridiculous quality. For performers, non-performers, actors and clowns yes but also...
dancers, filmmakers, painters, musicians, writers, stand-up comics, poets, teachers, acrobats, lawyers, doctors, public speakers, life coaches, facilitators, administrators, toy-makers, surfers, rocket-scientists, computer programmers, inventors, Feldenkrais practitioners, massage therapists, yoga instructors, chefs, event planners, mindfulness practitioners, psychotherapists, social workers, university professors and many others have participated.
John Beale is an actor and a teacher of acting, improvisation and clown. He is a graduate of the Philippe Gaulier École international de théâtre in France, and he has trained, performed and taught extensively as a company member with the internationally acclaimed Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts. John is on faculty at Humber, George Brown, Seneca at York, Randolph and the Toronto Film school. He hosts with special guests a weekly clown drop-in in Toronto every Monday night called the Hogtown Clown Collective. He is a master clown and has offered clown performance workshops and coaching since 2005.
