Facilitated by Megan Gilron (she/they), "Representations of Intimacy Part 2: Sexuality and Pleasure in Performance" is a 2hr 45 min online course-conversation focussed on sex education that is comprehensive, intersectional, and applicable to film, television, theatre, and storytelling.
The goal of the course is to empower artistic creators (writers, producers, intimacy professionals, choreographers, performers, etc.) with accurate information about:
• Discuss different sex acts (Oral, Penetrative (vaginal/anal), Manual
• Pleasure Advocacy
• Sex Toys and Gender Affirming accessories
• Queer Sex
Participants can engage with the material in conversation throughout the event. A Google Meet link will be sent to you through Eventbrite. Closed captioning is available on this platform.

Sliding Scale Pricing
There are limited community tickets and discounted sliding scale tickets available for this event for individuals with financial restrictions. Tickets are first-come first-serve, but please be mindful. Union Discount of 20% for UBCP/ ACTRA as well as access to sliding scale.
About the Facilitator
Megan Gilron (she | they) is an actor’s advocate, sexual health and sexuality educator, and Intimacy Coordination Mentee with the Professional Society of Canadian Intimacy Coordinators and Directors with Intimacy Coordinator Amanda Cutting.
She has an expansive background in theatre costume design, acting, and directing; film and TV costuming (IATSE 891 member); and youth facilitation (with Safeteen International). Her work is diversely informed by training and experience in mental health first aid, conflict resolution, consent and boundaries negotiations in the kink/BDSM community, and facilitation of somatic bodywork. She currently works in the TV and Film industry within the ancestral, traditional and unceded territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-waututh) Nations (also known as Vancouver, Canada).
